There are three different types of reports you can use in Worksnaps: Quick Report, Saved Report and Static Report. Here we explain what they are and how to use them.

Quick Report
Quick Report provides a fast and easy way to see how much time users have logged across your projects. Simply navigate to the Quick Report page, and the report will be displayed immediately.
You can adjust various parameters to tailor the report to your needs, including:
Time frame: day, week, two weeks, semi-month, month, or a custom range
Projects and users to include
Timezone used for generating the report
Whether to include rates and amounts
Whether to include offline time
Task filters
Grouping options
You can also easily scroll backward or forward to view previous time periods. Quick Report is ideal when you just want a quick overview of logged time at a glance.
Saved Report
Sometimes you may want to reuse the same reporting criteria multiple times. For example, you might want to see the time logged by a specific group of users across all projects for the current week, sorted first by date and then by user.
While this can be achieved using Quick Report, it is more convenient to save the query for future use. To do this, go to the Saved Report tab, configure the report criteria in the same way as you would in Quick Report, and then save it by assigning a name. Once saved, you can run the report again at any time with a single click.
Static Report
Both Quick Report and Saved Report are dynamic in nature. This means they are saved as queries, and the data is retrieved in real time each time the report is run. For example, if you run a report such as “How much time have my users logged today?”, the results may vary depending on when you run it, since users may still be logging, editing, or deleting time entries. These reports always reflect the most up-to-date data, which is often very useful.
However, there are situations where you need a fixed snapshot of the data—for example, for billing purposes or to ensure that others see exactly the same results. This is where Static Report becomes useful.
You can generate a Static Report by saving the results of a Quick Report or a Saved Report. When viewing either report, click the Save as Static Report button to create one. Once a Static Report is generated, its data is frozen and will not change.
