[Update] This issue has been resolved in the new Worksnaps client for Linux. All you need to do is to download and install the new version from our download page

Current Worksnaps client support Linux platform with Gnome and KDE desktop session. The matrix below shows the support of Gnome and KDE for different Linux distributions:

Supported Linux Platform
(1) Redhat (KDE, Gnome)
(2) Fedora (KDE, Gnome)
(3) OpenSUSE (KDE, Gnome)
(4) Ubuntu (KDE, Gnome)
(5) Xubuntu (KDE, Gnome)

Issue on Xubuntu:

If user using Xubuntu, the default desktop session on Xubuntu is XFCE. When using XFCE and running Worksnaps client, the mouse cursor will randomly changes crosshairs cursor (Figure 1) and needs a few clicks to get it back. This is most likely due to a bug in the Java environment on Xnbuntu.

To work around the issue on Xubuntu, you can use KDE or Gnome desktop. Here is how to do it:

1. Install KDE desktop on Xubuntu.
2. Select “KDE Flasma Workspace” option on login window (Figure 2).
